Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Tsz Kin Ken Leung, doing business as Zentrol ("Zentrol"). When you create an account or use the Zentrol dashboard, the daemon, or this website (together, "the Service"), you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

Beta service

The Service is in a limited beta. It is free during the beta. Features can change or stop without notice, and errors are possible. Do not depend on the Service as your only record of your work.

Your account

You must give correct account information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think somebody else has access to it. You must be at least 16 years old.

Your code and your responsibility

AI agents run on your own computers, under your own AI provider accounts. You own your code and you keep all rights to it. You decide which changes to approve, and you are responsible for the result. Read the output of an agent before you accept it.

You also accept the terms of the AI providers and other services that you connect to Zentrol.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

• Break the law or the rights of another person.
• Send unsolicited messages, malware, or content that harms other people.
• Get access to another workspace, account, or system without permission.
• Test the limits, capacity, or security of the Service without our written permission.
• Resell the Service or copy it as a competing product.

Text message terms

Program name: Zentrol account and agent alerts. You turn these messages on yourself, in the Zentrol dashboard under Settings, then Text alerts, and confirm a code we text to your number. We then text you when an agent in your workspace is blocked, needs a decision, or has work ready for your review.

• Up to 10 messages per month.
• Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier sets these rates, not Zentrol.
• To stop the messages, reply STOP to any message from us. We then send one message to confirm, and no more after that.
• For help, reply HELP or write to info@zentrol.ai.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Supported carriers can change. Delivery is not guaranteed on every network.

We treat your mobile number under our Privacy Policy. We never share it with a third party for marketing.

Third-party services

The Service connects to products that other companies run, such as AI providers, code hosts, issue trackers, and messaging providers. We do not control those products and we are not responsible for them.

Fees

The beta is free. If we start to charge for the Service, we tell you the price before it applies to your account, and you can close the account instead.

Our intellectual property

Zentrol owns the Service, its software, and its brand. These terms give you a limited right to use the Service. They give you no other rights.

No warranty

The Service is supplied "as is" and "as available". To the limit the law permits, we give no warranty of any kind, and no promise that the Service is uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the limit the law permits, Zentrol is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or stop the beta, with notice when that is possible.

Governing law

The law of the State of California, United States, governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts of that state hear any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. We update the date at the top of this page, and we tell you by email when the change is large. Use of the Service after a change means that you accept the new terms.
